San Diego

Breath in, Breath out!

My daughter/assistant and I just took a mini vacation to beautiful San Diego in conjunction with my Buffini Mastermind Summit.

We had a bit of a crazy time getting to San Diego, but it was worth it.  Our flight had numerous delays, 5-6 in Nashville, Phoenix, and  Santa Ana.  We finally arrived in San Diego after securing a car rental in Santa Ana.

The beautiful thing is that once we arrived in San Diego, everything worked out fine. In the afternoon, after the summit, we explored downtown San Diego, the bay, the cliffs, and of course, the beaches.

On Monday and Tuesday afternoons, we explored the area of Oceanside.  What a quaint little town full of life.  Restaurants, multiple piers, shops, artists, music, and beaches are at your fingertips.  The dog beach is phenomenal!

Wednesday, we took off to explore the cliffs next to San Diego Bay and drove north to Carlsbad Beach.  The colors of the beach water were stunning.  My daughter took a ton of photographs for her photography class and portfolio.  The white sand and lullaby of the waves invited you just to sit there and soak up the sand. Due to the travel delays, we had to cut short our “vacation” time, but we still had plenty to see.

If you have never been to San Diego, you should go.  There are many beachside Airbnb rentals as well as hotels.  The place is magical.

We stopped at the Buffini headquarters for a great tour between our beach and cliff exploration.  I got the tour and a book!

Here are some photos to enjoy a little bit of what we saw. I have ten months to plan next year’s trip.  If you know of any places to visit while in San Diego/CA, let me know.
