Music in my mind…

Music in my mind & heart

When I go to sleep, I am either listening to Fr. Schmidt’s presentation, Fr. Alar’s presentation, or classical music. I love classical music. For the last week, I have been on medication. The medication causes me to feel drowsy, so I fall asleep quite easily.  All this past week, I have not set up or applied any of my nighttime routines.  My brain, however, has an amazing record of the presentations or classical music I normally listen to.

Our brains are truly amazing.

three days ago..

Andre Rieu’s The Beautiful Blue Danube waltz was playing in my head.  It played and played for a while until I woke up, and I  realized the music had been playing in my head for some time.  For the next two hours, I could not stop the music from playing.

Two days ago ...

Vivaldi’s Four Seasons was playing in my head. Same thing…the music had been playing in my head for quite some time before  I woke up.  I really just wanted to dance the waltz.

Today...lol

I woke up to Charlotte Church’s rendition of O Mio Caro Bambino.  Her rendition kept crossing with Andre Rieu & Amira’s performance.  It was so vivid I seriously thought I was there live.  This is one of my favorite renditions of this son.  Of course, when I woke up, it was a bit disappointing that it was just playing in my head.

What about you, and music?

How about you?  Do any songs pop into your head in the middle of the night?  Do any of them play over and over non-stop?  What’s your favorite or crazy memory of songs? Do you like Classical music? What is your favorite music? How do you decompress?

Anything on your Bucket List you want to do?  Anything you have done?
